Whitsunday Weddings
Weddings in Paradise
Throw off your shoes and stifling tradition by getting married in the sand at your own private Paradise!
Be it a simple beach wedding for you and your partner at sunset or a whole extravaganza including exclusive booking for the entire resort, a dramatic arrival by the bride or groom from a neighbouring island (by helicopter or boat) and a grand wedding feast, anything you can dream of we can arrange.
At Paradise Bay you and your guests will be treated to a wedding (or re-commitment ceremony) like no other. And best of all Paradise Bay is exclusive, in the most pristine, stunningly beautiful and romantic location. Even though we’ve hosted many weddings there is virtually no chance that any of your friends have been married here! Your wedding will be truly unique.
Celebrants
We have relationships with non-denominational and religious celebrants who can not only legally marry you at Paradise Bay, or simply help you exchange renewal vows or perform a commitment ceremony if that's your heart's desire, but also make sure your day is unique, special and romantic. We recommend celebrant Ivan Conway www.whitsundayweddings.com.au and he can be contacted on civilcelebrant@bigpond.com.au. We also recommend Rosalie Allan from www.whitsundaycelebrant.com who can be contacted on rose@whitsunday.net.au
Photography
We work with local photographers so that you can choose the best one for your particular needs. Don't believe in digital pics for your wedding? Or would you rather skip the film and proofs process and take your photos back home with you on a CD to print as you choose? We have professional photographers that can deliver exactly what you need. Our recommend photographer is norinajane@netspace.net.au Website www.whitsundayphotographer.com.au
Alternatively our hosts are happy to assist with taking some photos for you at no extra charge.
Flowers
From simple to sophisticated, from elegant to outrageous, we'll help you make selections within your budget, and we'll keep in close touch with the florist right up to the moment the flowers are delivered for your special day. We like to use www.flowerhut.info, contact Janelle on flowerhut@hotmail.com.
Cakes
Whatever your heart's desire—we‘ll make sure you not only have your cake, you want to eat it too! Our chefs can whip up a delicacy of your choice and happy to take specific requests! If you want the whole 9 yards we can organise a cake from local bakers to suit your budget.
Ceremony Sites
Always imagined getting married on a beach with the sand in your toes and the wind blowing through your veil? Or would you prefer a hilltop in pristine National Park, or maybe on the bow of our Sailing Boat. Just let us know, we’d love to set it up.
Reception Venues
Will it be an elegant island feast for 20, or just you and your true love sipping champagne alone on your private terrace with a view of the water? You choose!
Accommodation
One bungalow or two, or maybe the whole resort? Whatever you need, just ask, we’d love to help.
Goody Bags and Wedding Favours
Imagine each of your guests arriving in their private bungalow to find a beach bag filled with snacks, champagne and information about the island—what a treat! And you can send them home with a beautiful wedding favour, or a customized package of the wedding couple's favourite cookies. Again we’re happy to work to your budget.
Honeymoons
Of course we love honeymooners at Paradise Bay – it’s relaxing, private, and romantic and we’re always providing special treats like dinners on the beach or on your private balcony – we can even take you to your own private hideaway for the day or sundowners.
At Paradise Bay Eco Escape, over 50% of our guests are honeymooners who simply love the idyllic, romantic location and superb service. We're also excited to announce that we recently picked up the 2010 Trip Advisor award for Number One hotel in Australia for 'Romance', Number One hotel in the South Pacific for 'Service' and we were also in the Top 3 for 'Bargain' and ‘all-inclusive’. If you’re thinking of having your honeymoon in Paradise, why not consider setting up a ‘Honeymoon Registry’ where your guests can contribute to your once in a lifetime holiday, knowing that they’re getting the special bride and groom the perfect gift .. a honeymoon in Paradise!
